Warranty Timeline：

The Limited Warranty for Star-Batt products applies exclusively to the original owner who purchased the product directly from Star-Batt or an authorized dealer. The warranty period begins upon the product's receipt and concludes at the end of the designated warranty period. This warranty is non-transferable and does not cover any subsequent owners or transferees of the Star-Batt product.

If any component is found to be defective within the warranty period, it will be repaired or replaced. The warranty does not cover damages caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or external factors such as accidents or natural disasters. To make a warranty claim, proof of purchase is required, and for extended warranty claims, product registration is also necessary. Warranty claims can be initiated by contacting our customer service team at support. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Normal Wear and Tear：
This warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by improper use or failure to follow instructions. Examples include, but are not limited to, damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, abuse, unauthorized modifications or alterations, use of incompatible parts or accessories, operator error, or exposure to water and dust outside the product's specifications.

Water and Dust Damage：
The warranty does not cover damage caused by water or dust exposure beyond the product’s IP65 rating. The IP65 rating ensures protection against low-pressure water jets from any direction and full dust protection only when the cases cover is properly closed and latched. Damage caused by conditions exceeding these protections, such as submersion, high-pressure water, or prolonged heavy dust exposure, is not covered under this warranty.

Shipping Damage claims：

Products should be inspected immediately upon delivery. Shipping damage claims are time-sensitive and will not be accepted if reported more than 14 business days after delivery. Please take photos of any damage found and, if possible, date the images. All shipping damage claims must be reported to us within 14 business days of delivery.
